How much is this? It's free. There are also Perl interfaces to Informix, but I don't know which or from where. If you get no other responce to this post try a new post where you put Perl and Informix in the subject line. : What else will I need :to write applications? To use the ESQL/C kit you need ESQL/C from Informix. You can also use Informix 4GL. : Where can I get it? JDBC is available (in early versions) from several sources like: http://www.openlinksw.com, http://cafe.symantec.com and many others. Mike Auburn also have a non JDBC Java interface to Informix at http://www.aubury.demon.co.uk :Your comments and suggestions are welcomed and will be greatly :appreciated. :Thank you, :-Tim Nils.Myklebust@idg.no NM Data AS, P.O.Box 9090 Gronland, N-0133 Oslo, Norway My opinions are those of my company The Informix FAQ is at http://www.iiug.org
