SQLCA-Structure in ESQL/C

Hi Informix-Gurus! I'm working in with ESQL/C-Version 7.2 in a multithreading-environment. To switch between several Database-Connections, I have to use the Statement SetConnect(nr). It seems, that this statement overwrites the SQLCA-Structure of the current Database-Connection. So, how is it possible, to get the last Error-Code (SQLCA.SQLCODE) ? Does anyone have an idea?
