RE: START REPORT X TO PIPE Y ?
Posted in 1998
Hi all,
Thanks for that suggestion Bill. I was monitoring the spool area
for the report and the report never was produced (not spooled). As I
mentioned the report is big (20 MB). Using arrays and cursors the report
is churned out. Temp dbspace (400 MB) was used but never beyond the size
of the report.
I suspect a limit has been hit. My SHMTOTAL is unlimited. How can
I find out the memory usage for the user ? I tried onstat -g ses :
session #RSAM total used
id user tty pid hostname threads memory memory
29 informix - 0 - 0 8192 7052
What unit(Kb/Mb/bytes) is the total memory and used memory measured in?
Can I use this to check ?
