Buy Carleton Doe's 'Informix Online Dynamic Server Handbook'... lots of great tips, and a worksheet on the CD-ROM to calculate extent sizes (along with a bunch of tools). All in all, a must-have for any DBA. *Highly* recommended. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herb Blacker Cimarron, Inc.
