Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

First of all: I am not a programmer - but just a poor user, who is alone
in the jungle of ODBC.
We do have a database (informix 7.2) the data of which we would like to
use in MS Access (97). Just works fine with Informix CLI-32 2.5.
The problem is that some of the rows do not show the real data but "long
binary-Daten". Somebody told me that this is in connection with BLOBs
(whatever that may be).
What can I do to have access to this data (we just want to read them in
order to make reports)?
Is it possible to convert this information to "Memo"?
Does it only depend on the ODBC-drivers?
THANX for solutions!
