A few possible situations causing -932 to come up: 1. wrong service mentioned in SETNET (must be sqlexec) 2. sqlexec entry missing in services file (sqlexec 1525/tcp) 3. wrong winsock.dll in path (e.g. if you work with a dial in internet provider also) 4. server or sqlexec deamon on server is down 5. protocol setting in SETNET is wrong 6. ip configuration is messed up (try connecting with telnet; oops, I see you did :>) Regards Dirk -- -- Dipl.-Math.
