IDS 11.50.fc7 Aix 6.1 Got an external table that I'm using to load an internal table ... Is there a quick way to figure out the progress ... Thanks in advance ... Peter Logan Senior Database Administrator Phone: 616/878-8309
If you have table stats enabled, you can use onstat to monitor the writes to
the target table and reads from the source table.

The two quick things that I look at:
onstat -g tpf < thread id of loader>
This will show you the number of row inserted if you are using deluxe
mode
onstat -g ppf < partnum of target table >
This will show you the current number of rows and pages in this
table

What if the target table is fragmented ... at that point can I only check
things at the partition level?
