Hi Dirk, assuming that you bought your licenses in Germany under no special conditions the regular informix license rules apply. Without wanting to get into to much details,in your case you would have to buy one license per connection. You can find out the number of connection using onstat. BTW I doubt, that any german judge would be willing to approve this rule. If you use multiple instances of INFORMIX Servers on a single system and you do cross-instance connections its close to unpossible to find a serious answer concerning the user number. You should write a letter to your INFORMIX representative, that you got no more than 64 users and that you want to be reassured by a written approval that your license usage is ok. Klaus Nonne
