113 error with 5.01

Surprise! Our production Online engine was upgraded to 5.01 while my nose was somewhere else. We are now experiencing a 113 error during sessions which try to do more than one thing in a single session (i.e. for productive users). The user in question ran one application and then tried to run another. The second application errored with a 'Cannot create temp table' - 'file is locked'. She had not tried to previously create the temp table in question. She exited out and came back in and all was fine. A second datapoint: A script generates SQL and then runs it. The SQL creates a temp table. This also gets the 113. Thoughts?
