Added to all the "it wont run anyway" stuff (except maybe vi ibcs/linux-abi)..
The actual error here looks like the program isn't 'executable', chmod may
help..
One other thought - why don't you have the sourcecode ?
If the code has been supplied in executable form from a vendor - there may be
license implications in moving it anyway...
