Help: Errors/Warning compiling 4GL demo
I'm having trouble getting my new versions of Informix to compile some of the demo software. Can anyone shed some light? Using Informix versions 7.10.UC1 SE and 6.01.UD1 4GL on SCO UNIX 3.2.4.2 Using cc compiler. (INFORMIXC=cc) Warning messages when running "c4gl menu1.4gl". (INFORMIXC=rcc) Error messages when running "c4gl menu1.4gl". undefined first referenced symbol in file strcoll /online/informix/lib/tools/libos.a strftime /online/informix/lib/tools/netlib.a nl_langinfo /online/informix/lib/tools/libgen.a localeconv /online/informix/lib/tools/libgen.a ld fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to a.out The 4ge is not created. These errors can be fixed by modifying c4gl by adding the -lintl to end of final phase compile command. Are "Warning" messages to be expected?
