Moving Online 4.x from Sun 690 to Sparc 10/20?

I am doing a hardware analysis of existing systems which run slow on multiple Sun 690's / 4 processors @ 40 mhz each. A benchmark test conducted on a Sparc 10 / 4 processors @ 71 mhz and later on a Sparc 20 / 4 processors @ 72 mhz each caused a reduction of batch/background run times from 22 hours to 6.5 hours. We are planning on upgrading our Sun 690's to Sun "remanufactured Sparc 10 or 20's". Does anyone have thoughts or experience in this area. What problems might you expect we will encounter? Besides Sun, are there any other 3rd party resellers or used Sun equipment?
