INFORMIXC environment variable is supported only on Unix, for windows only Microsoft or Borland C compilers are supported. For more details please go thru the Informix SQL Reference 9.4 online manual, page 3-62, under INFORMIXC topic Tip: On Windows, you pass either -mcc or -bcc options to the esql preprocessor to use either the Microsoft or Borland C compilers. Even though I've set INFORMIXC to gnu and PATH to where gnu.exe lives (and I can type 'gnu' and it finds it) I still get a -55926. Rebooting makes no difference. What am I doing wrong?
