Good Morning -
Some questions regarding using different languages. I am only familiar
with English within the Database.
If we currently have all our databases on the instance as English, am
I able to add another database to use Unicode that is able to use
Chinese, Spanish, etc or is that done at the instance level?
The other question is I thought I had read there was a way to set up
an Enterprise replication instance as supporting international
languages and have the Primary be English only and it would
essentially translate on-the-fly - Anyone know of this?
Thanks,
Tom

Hello.
Your database language is database specific, one instance could have several databases, each one with a different language, ok?
Version 11.70.xC3 started to do ER with different codes, between the databases, check it out here:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/topic/com.ibm.po.doc/new_features.htm#xc_3
Hope it helps.
