DBSA question....

Hi... Another newbie Informix question... I tried to run a onstat - from a non-informix userid. The command came back with a 'unable to use shared memory - permission denied' OK...why did I get this message first off? Secondly, is there a way in which I can make onstat for example be available to all users? Or is this a DBSA thing only? And...how do you make someone a DBSA? IS this different from a GRANT DBA to a particular user? Thanks, Joe
