Here's an example of what I mean. CLIENT_LOCALE is set to de_de.8859-1, using
dbaccess (DB-Access Version 7.30.UC3) against Online 5.10UC1 on the server:
SELECT ko_datum FROM kontakt
WHERE year(ko_datum) = 1998
AND month(ko_datum) = 12
gives me the following output format:
01.12.1998
(13 rows found)
whereas
SELECT ko_datum FROM kontakt
WHERE ko_datum = "01.12.1998"
gives me:
12.01.1998
(46 rows found)
Obviously, with DBDATE not set to the German standard date format (DD.MM.YYYY),
I get the wrong results on INPUT. It treats dates as MM.DD.YYYY!
To overcome this, I have to set DBDATE to "DMY4.".
