Hi, 1) Does anyone know where to find information on utilising the extended properties on the connection string for ADO, affecting the Informix connection? 2) What is this for? Thanks, Andy

Andy, Programmer's guide and release notes document DBPROP_PROVIDERSTRING parameters (aka "Extended Properties") consumers might find useful. In fact, I think in 2.0 provider (2.30 CSDK) the only such parameter is "decasr8", that tells the provider to pretend Informix decimals are R8's so they will not overflow VB DECIMALs.
