error -410, PREPARE statment failed !

 Has anyone got -410 errors while trying to update a row in a table ? the following code has been causing random errors on update for a while now ... UPDATE card SET card.* = p_card.* WHERE card.id = p_card.id I have tried everything .. PREPARE,DECLARE ... FOR UPDATE UPDATE table WHERE CURRENT OF etc.. and for 2 users any of these statements cause an error -410 sometimes -410 PREPARE statement failed or was not executed. : Check that your PREPARE statement was successfully executed There is nothing weird in the code to cause a syntax error. The column 'id' is type serial and this only happens for 2 users out of 20 SCO Unix 3.2v4.2 RDS 4.00 Development Regards Noel
