NewEra Super Table Properties

I have been unable to create a superTable with an update Table property of other than NULL. My On-Line server is networked through Chameleon 4.5. My NewEra version is 1.1 The table I have been playing with has no problem with selecting rows, scrolling through the list and deletes without problems. I did, initially, have quit a problem connecting to the On-Line engine. Commenting out the values for NETTYPE in my onconfig file took care of that, however. Also, I did complete the Informix sponsored training for Developing Applications Using Informix-NewEra but these issues were not addressed. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
