Encryption techniques

Hey everyone, I wanted to know from those of you that use an external product to do encryption at the database level- what product you use and how satisfied you are with it? so far I have found Vormetric that does this. Does anyone have performance numbers of how the database operating before and after the encryption was added? And can you tell me specifically if you use raw database disks? Thanks!
