Hello, I migrate my informix from 9.40UC6 to 11.70.FC7GE (GrowthED) everything works well, but not ACE Report. 4GL works fine (doing export import of my syspgm4gl database) I did some modification on a pair of ACE reports, and I detect that switching some variables data type the report works fine. It´s a HARD work to do that on any of hundred reports, but it´s a way to resolve one of two problem I have. The other problem it´s "skip to top of page" sentences, this sentences erase any print made before on report. I think that it´s another "simple" way to resolve my problem,I hope someone could help me. Thank you very much Julio Falcón

Are they installed in the same directory as IDS and CSDK? Which platform is this running on? What change do you think you have to make to get back to the status quo ante? Do you have a minimal test case (an SSCCE or Short, Self-Contained, Correct Example — see http://sscce.org/) that shows the problems? There were some issues related to code built using ESQL/C prior to 3.70.FC5 running against ESQL/C 3.70.FC5 or 3.70.FC6, and some of those issues were fixed in 3.70.FC7. However, I was under the illusion that they afflicted ISQL Perform and not ACE. Hence the interest in the versions of everything. One way around the issues is to install I4GL and ISQL into a separate INFORMIXDIR from the server (and CSDK). This leaves I4GL and ISQL working with the libraries they were originally built with, which generally simplifies life — they were tested with the libraries and work well with the libraries and if you don't change the libraries, nothing goes wrong. But it is a bit more fiddly than it should be. -- Jonathan Leffler <jonathan.leffler@gmail.com> #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix - v2013.0118 - http://dbi.perl.org "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused."
