Kernel panic running version 4.00 SE

We added some extra globals and arguments to a couple of executables. One executable is OK, the other hangs and produces a kernel panic which reboots the server. We have tried everything we can think of. It runs OK under RDS. Taking out the extra globals and checking of extra arguments makes it work. Basic layout is:- database <database name> globals "../gl.dir/gl_000.4gl" main call <initialise> call <check_arguments> call <program functions> end main if you put a prompt before <initialise> and <check_arguments> it works! anybody any ideas? We are running Informix SE Version 4.0. under SCO Unix. The size of the executable is about 5.2M Many thanks. -- Nick Colthorpe
