Redhat version of SE running on Slackware...

I tried to install the redhat on my slackware system (slackware 3.3). I started on the ESQL tarball first. I ran the file installclientsdk which in turn I believe calls installesql. When this file runs I get the following problem reported: Installing directory . Installing directory bin Installing directory lib Installing directory lib/esql etc/installc: etc/brand: No such file or directory Installation of INFORMIX-Client SDK failed. I tried running the install for the SE tarball as well and I got the same problem. Anybody got any ideas?
