Table Restore

I am using ontape to backup my databases. I have for the larger databases one database per dbspace. Is there a way using ontape to retrieve a single table, without doing a backup current, restore good, unload table, and restore current? Currently this takes me approx. 15 hours, and it is only going to get worse. This is the only way I've been able to get back a table. I have some programmers who have on occassion forgot what they were doing or which instance they were pointing to. (:-( Any thoughts??
