Of course they paid more for Netezza than they paid for IDS... making IDS look like a bargain. I wonder why this is a big thing when JPMChase just had a serious outage on their Oracle servers and were rumored to be talking with IBM about DB2. They should be in fact talking to IBM about IDS but hey! what do I know?
