Well Tim, you might still have some use for it. The 4GL UPSHIFT function isn't a great upshifter of our special european characters. Your's isn't either, but it may at least be modified to do that. I haven't tested the 4GL UPSHIFT function with NLS turned on yet, so may be we don't need it. Anybody know if UPSHIFT in 4GL (and NewEra) supports 8 bit character sets in any sensible way?
