Which one should I chose and why? You're asking the wrong list. Consider these factors -Can you call dial a number at 3:30am localtime, and get polite proficient support? -Are you willing to put you and your customers through the pain while your vendor sorts out their technology (InnodDB, purchased by....Orrible?) -Are you willing to sacrifice maturity and stability? (Read the MySQL changelog for 4.16, out today, here's a snippet) * Selecting from a table in both an outer query and a subquery could cause a server crash. (Bug #14482 (http://bugs.mysql.com/14482)) Isn't that special? -Are you familiar with TANSTAAFL? Have you looked into to support costs of these products? If you can live with the limitations, these may be the products for you. Don't expect the fit and finish that you're getting from Informix. DT sending to informix-list
