Not sure if I have a problem with CKPs

I sometimes observe a period of very frequent checkpoints. The system is a
primary and there is one RSS. Here is an example of what I observe:

I don't see any messages in the log, though.
I wonder if these could be secondary checkpoints (from index builds) that
Madison mentioned a couple years ago when replying to someone's question about
frequent checkpoints.
If so, maybe there is no problem brewing at all (?)

Hi. You should not worry about checkpoints, unless they are causing slowness on your cluster. IPL triggers are supposed to be caused by index page, as discussed on this technote. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21978550 HTH Alexandre Marini
