GUI Tools for Unix

Dear Fellow Informix Users: I was about to get New Era inhouse so that we could develop GUI forms and reports, but I've been told by Informix that there will be no further development on the front end side of New Era for Unix. The last version is 1.0.2. The Informix rep. said that I should consider the windows version which is up to 3.0 and will be continually getting enhanced. This is not an option for me, so I'd like to know if anyone has found a UNIX based GUI development tool that works well with Informix 5 - 7.
