Re: hung process

This also occasionally happens on AIX (3.2.5 and 4.2, Informix 5.0n) when
client process dies due to HANGUP (closing GUI window, swuitchint the
terminal off) or INT signal (good, old ctrl-C). It seems that clien
packages don't close the connection to the server down in routines handling
these interrupts.
I would appreciate an advice concerning this (apart that is appears to be
safe to kill those processes).
