BUFFERS

Hi all, I've been trying to figure-out online configuration, in the onconfig file. The optimization books say that you set the buffer size to 25% of your physical Memory size by pages or 256 mb of ram = 16000 buffers, we have set a machine with this amount of ram to 40,000 and the server responds OK. The only difference is we set the Physical DB space higher and root DB space higher. Which of these setting should we use for calclulating the correct buffer amount.
