Re: Flame on low-ball job offers

Is 50-55K really outrageously low for an Informix DBA w/ only 3 years experience? I'm not a DBA, but I know I could do it (and have acted as DBA many times). As a programmer with twice the experience, should I also consider 50-55K to be a slap in the face? Maybe I should check some salary surveys, but what do you consider someone described in the ad is worth?
