Using Cpio to load informix from CD

I need to install informix IDS 7.31 from a cd. I have mounted the cd on /cdrom I have tried to use cpio as started in the manual but i am getting this error # cpio -ivdBum < /cdrom/SERVER/IDS.CPI Out of phase--get help Perhaps the "-c" option should be used What could be the problem.
