HDR & backups

Informix 9.30 Solaris 8 We are planning to do the following: Have a primary server, and then use HDR to replicate this server onto a secondary server. Question: Can I do my backups by only running them on the secondary server? I haven't done this before, and 1 question popped into my mind - I am busy replicating, but the backup needs to update the system catalogues to keep track of the backups that I run (when was my last level 0, etc.) Can this be done ? sending to informix-list

Use the primary as usual. Regards.
