What are the differences between creating a temp table via CREATE TABLE, and selecting INTO TEMP? Obviously, you get more flexibility in the CREATE TABLE alternative, but the coding advantages of INTO TEMP are too juicy too ignore. Is there trap here for the unwary? I scanned the manuals but found nothing on performance (or anything else about the inner workings) betwen these options. Bryan.
