VB5 and Informix

Hi folks, I have an intermittent problem when either trying to insert , update or delete from and Informix database in Vb5. When the problem does occur I get a total crash with a Dr. Watson file being generated or sometimes error 28 (out of stack space) and then the crash. I have checked the stack using the stack viewer and all I see is two funtion calls. I use the following syntax to insert, update or delete: Db.Execute SQLQ, dbSqlPassThrough where SQLQ is the sql string. Sometimes the above statement works fine and the relevant action has taken place in the database. The only solution I have found so far is to disconnect and then reconnect to the database before the action. Has anyone else got other ideas? Regards, Michael.
