RE: ISQL install problem
Posted in 2006
Sorry to jump in at the last moment, but have you looked at the machine notes in the directory you installed isql in? If you downloaded it from PPA, you need to remember that over the last year or so the database tool items on that site have been consistently mislabeled. Look at the very top of the MACHINENOTES.732 file for this: IRIS NUMBER : 43948 *OS Information : Built on HPUX 11.00, Certified on HP 11.11 and 11.23 *Certified means known certifications at the time of release COMPILER VERSION : HP C Version 3.1 Make sure that the OS Information matches your platform, ie: Linux, not SCO. --EEM -----Original Message----- From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of andrew.burridge@gmail.com Sent: Thursday, December 14, 2006 8:41 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Re: ISQL install problem Hi, Yeah, you're correct in your assumptions. Both versions are UC, so there shouldn't be a conflict. Trust me to come up with a crazy problem! Thanks for all your help anyway.
