The good news is that there's a pretty good overview of the ODS range in /http://www.informix.com/informix/products/ids/overview.htm and its associated links. I don't know if this has recently been rewritten, or if I just missed it on previous visits, but its got a decent semi technical overview of the feature groups (and some marketese). The bad news is that Informix apparently don't even sell UDS, ODS and OWS anymore :). They now appear to be all ODS, but you can add the Universal Data option (and others), or opt for the Workgroup edition of ODS. Just when you thought you had a grip on it, eh? -- Bryan Tonnet batonnet@phase4.com.au
