Mirroring and Archives

We currently use Informix DS 7.22 on AIX. All of our chunks are mirrored (approx. 17Gb). We do a zero level ontape archive each week and a level 1 daily. If there is a problem with the database and we have to perform a restore, can we restore to a machine with the same primary chunk layout but without mirroring? Does the archive include the mirror chunks? If so, is there a way to only backup the primary chunks? Thanks, Paul N. Daly (email to pndaly@globalnet.co.uk)
