[One for our regular viewers!! :-] Anyway, you're definitely in the better than NT space here, machines to consider are: SGI Origin 2000 Sun Enterprise 10000 HP V2250 or greater IBM RS/6000 SP2 There are many others I have forgotten, for which I will surely be taken to task, but these are "mainstream". :-) I especially like the Origin, which last time I looked could cluster up to 6144 CPUs and (I think) 24 TB of RAM. Should just about cope. The others seem to have a 64 or 128 CPU clustering limit.
