SQLEXEC on Linux (RedHat)

Hi, I have installed the trial version of Informix IDS (7.3) (downloaded from www.intraware.com) onto linuix (RedHat). The installation ran fine and I'm able to access the db locally. While attempting to access the db remotely - failed. After some checking, realize that sqlexecd is not in my db server. (It is not in /opt/informix/lib - where the people on the NET says it should be). I cannot locate sqlexec in my db server either. Can somebody help...? Is it something wrong with my installation or the version I got does not contain sqlexec in the first place? Any help is greatly appreciated....THANKS.
