Re: ODBC with informix

Along this line, but completely different, in an NT/win 95 environment is it possible to completely disable all ODBC connectivity from within Informix? I am working on a financial project that will be a Powerbuilder/Informix combo. I am hearing from Informix support that the only security in Informix 7 is through the NT userid. The userid gets the standard syscolsauth permissions, etc. What concerns me is that a disgruntled employee could bring in their copy of Paradox or Access (assuming they could actually get Access to work right), and then ODBC right into one or more of the critical tables. The Powerbuilder app might have rules in it to cover updates, but Paradox won't know or care. Since syscolsauth will say they have add/change/delete god knows what they could do.
