Hi, We have an 4GL application with a form (.per) that contains an integer field. When the user types a character instead of an integer, we have the message "Error in field". Many user does not understand this message. Our customer would like to change this message and display the following message : "The characters are forbidden, you have to type an integer". Is it possible ? Do you know the solution ? Regards, -- Franck Thomas ConsultiX franck.thomas@consult-ix.fr Téléphone : 33 (0) 1 39 12 18 00 Mobile : 33 (0) 6 78 81 09 33 Fax : 33 (0) 1 39 12 18 18
One suggestion: use the comment in the field's record in the .per file to suggest that thid field is requesting an integer.
