orbix-corba problems with Informix

Hi, I'm developing a Corba Server (orbix), that is accessing a Informix Database (V 7.1). I'm working with the ESQL Precompiler for C. All components run on SUN Solaris 2.5 . When I access the Database in test programm, everything works fine. But when I'm trying to access the Informix database from my Corba-Server, creating a connection works two times, and the third time the Connect Clause (EXEC SQL connect to DBNAME -> the function behind ist _iqconnect) stops and the whole Server is blocked. I'm compiling the Functions that contain the Embedded SQL Code first with the ESQL Precompiler, then with the C-Compiler, the Server with the C++ Compiler and I'm linking with the ild in the dynamic mode and using the non-thread safe libraries from informix (because I'm using the Server in persistent mode). I'm using the same Compilers to create the test programm, that works. Does anybody know, if there are known problems with orbix-corba and Informix. And why does it work a few times and what does it mean, when the _iqconnect function doesn't return.
