SDS & update statistics performance
Posted in 2010
Hi
My situation:
1. I use MACH11 with IDS 11.50FC5W2 on Sun Solaris
On Secondary server UPDATABLE_SECONDARY 0.
2. On SDS server assert and server stop:
15:56:34 Rollforward of log record failed. iserrno = 126

OLDRSAM:HDELETE(41), trans = 2553

15:59:10 IBM Informix Dynamic Server Stopped.
3. Start SDS server.
4. I have performance problem with run update statistics
SQL operator
update statistics high for table ord_l
(comp_line_num,comp_line_num,est_pick_date,fully_allocated,fully_committed,
fully_on_pps,item_num,line_num,line_status,ord_id,ord_l_id,reqst_recpt_date
,shp_acc_id,whse_code)
with SDS - ~ 12 hours
without SDS - ~ 6 hours
Before SDS down - with and without run ~6 hours.
I not created query plan for update statistics.
Please, comment my situation with time of run update statistics.
Thanks
