kuanwh You could use a Perl filter to filter the UNLOADed data to the format = you need it in. Alternatively you could use either 4GL or ACE (I dont = remember which but I have done it in one of them) by setting PAGE SIZE = to 1, TOP and BOTTOM MARGINs to 0. The names may not be exact but I = guess you know what I mean. I had tried to do some processes and then unload it to a file. I can't use the unload command because i have to filled up all the=20 values in a given column.=20 For example : cost DECIMAL(9,2) If the value of cost is 1 then the result I wish to see is 0000001.00 Fine ... I can't do this using the unload. So I use a report to unload everything (formatted as above). Everything seems fine but at the end of the report, there are many unwanted spaces. Is it by default Informix put some spaces at the end of the report ? Thanks .....
