Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Please verify the version number. The most recent version of
the CSDK for Windows is 2.81TC3, which includes the ODBC driver
version 3.82 32bit.

That's also a rather old version of IDS. The current version
for Linux is 7.31UD8.

Does the password contain any special characters that might
have a different representation on Windows and Linux? Try
a password that contains only standard 7-bit ASCII characters.
Shadow passwords are not a problem in current IDS versions.
I am not really sure about your version, though. Check the
release notes.
