You have to query the 'sysmaster' database. Here's the SQL...you can stuff it in an ISQL script to produce a more 'columnar' formatted report: select lck.owner sesid, sec.full_name[1,20] uname, lck.dbsname db, lck.tabname tbl, lck.type typ, count(*) locks from syslocks lck, syssessions ses, security:pdt_unix_users sec where ses.sid = lck.owner and sec.username = ses.username group by 1,2,3,4,5 order by 1,2,3,4,5 -- Tracey Hammett Database Administrator Agency for Health Care Administration, FL hammettk@fdhc.state.fl.us bus: 850-413-9072 fax: 850-922-0490 -----Original Message----- From: anonymous [mailto:handel_ju@umc.com.tw] Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 1998 4:11 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Users who are current using the table Hi, Is there a way to list all of the users who are current reading/writing lock) a specific table?
