THREADLIB setting in UNIX

Hi, I've want to set the THREADLIB env variable to DCE for my UNIX session. How do I do this? Do I give an entry in the .profile? or in some other file? INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.20.UC2 Thanks, George Mathew Senior Software Engineer I.T.Solutions
