I only ever compile from the command line, or at least from a makefile. From the command line just do c4gl file.4gl -o program If you have lots of different files that need linking then c4gl -c file.4gl will create a file.o and you can put all these in a library of your own. Then c4gl mail.4gl -lyourlib -o program will make the finished product. Read the command line options appendix from the Informix manuals and the make(1) and ar(1) man pages of your UNIX documentation. Regards Neil -- Neil S.
